We are also one of the few law firms in the state with extensive experience trying eminent domain cases. Orrick & Erskine, LLP, has played a key role in the development of eminent domain law in Kansas, having won many precedent-setting cases in the Kansas Supreme Court and lower courts.

The firm's founder, Tim Orrick, directs, supervises and manages all aspects of our work, and he directly leads all of the firm's complex litigation and special real estate projects efforts. Mr. Orrick is one of only four Kansas attorneys listed in the 2007-2021 editions of The Best Lawyers in America for Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law. 

 

In 2011, Joe Erskine rejoined the firm, after having served as Deputy Secretary for Finance and Administration/General Legal Counsel of the Kansas Department of Transportation.  Mr. Erskine leads the firm's corporate practice areas, and handles numerous real estate issues for a wide variety of public and private clients alike.
