Our Team:          

 

Our team is anchored by Tim Orrick and Joe Erskine.  Tim Orrick has more than 35 years of experience representing clients in complex civil litigation and large public and private infrastructure projects.  Joe Erskine, a former Deputy Secretary and Chief Counsel for the Kansas Department of Transportation, has practiced for nearly 20 years, representing public and private clients in complex corporate, finance and contract matters, real estate transactions, and civil litigation.

We have completed significant litigation and/or property acquisition/relocation assignments for the following clients:  The Kansas Department of Transportation; The Kansas Turnpike Authority; The Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas and the Sac & Fox Nation; ITC Holdings/ITC Great Plains; Water District No. 1 of Johnson County;  the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas; the cities of Wichita, Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Shawnee, Salina, Lawrence, Leawood, Fairway, Louisburg, Concordia, Newton, Lyons and Colby in Kansas, The St. Charles County, Missouri Highway Department, and the cities of St. Joseph, Belton, Harrisonville and Grandview in Missouri.  In addition, we represent a select group of private clients regarding real estate development and financing, business organization and operation, contract and complex civil litigation.
