Our team is anchored by Tim Orrick and Joe Erskine. Tim Orrick have more than 30 years of experience representing clients in complex civil litigation and large public and private infrastructure projects. Joe Erskine, a former Deputy Secretary and Chief Counsel for the Kansas Department of Transportation, has practiced for more than 10 years, representing public and private clients in complex corporate, finance and contract matters, as well as large public infrastructure projects. Kathy Schoenberger is our Director of Real Estate Services. Prior to joining our staff in 2001, Kathy served as general manager of Benson Title in Kansas City, Kansas for 18 years. Kathy is an integral part of our property acquisition and relocation practice, handling hundreds of contracts and deeds and millions of dollars annually.
We have completed significant litigation and/or property acquisition/relocation assignments for the following clients: The Kansas Department of Transportation; The Kansas Turnpike Authority; The Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas and the Sac & Fox Nation; ITC Holdings/ITC Great Plains; Water District No. 1 of Johnson County; the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas; the cities of Wichita, Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Salina, Lawrence, Leawood, Fairway, Louisburg, Concordia, Newton, Lyons and Colby in Kansas, The St. Charles County, Missouri Highway Department, and the cities of St. Joseph, Belton, Harrisonville and Grandview in Missouri. In addition, we represent a select group of private clients regarding real estate development and financing, business organization and operation, contract and complex civil litigation, as well as individuals in divorce, probate, traffic or other related criminal matters.
